Mentor in Denmark

Mentor International has expanded its work to Denmark, where we are starting the Career Inspiration Program. This program will run workshops within schools in order to introduce professionals – Career Inspiration Mentors - from diverse industries and jobs to young people in order to:

  • Inspire young people to think differently about educations & future careers
  • Expose them to different professions and industries
  • Motivate them to reflect on their own interests, strengths, and hopes
  • Support informed decision making

Based on best-practice from other Mentor International national chapters, such as Mentor Sweden and Mentor USA, we will work with 14-16 year olds in 8th and 9th grade. The program launched in February 2016 and will continue in schools across Copenhagen throughout the year.

We are proud to work with Zurich International, who are our founding partner for the work in Copenhagen.  We are currently looking for further partnering opportunities with schools as well as companies in order to expand our work in Denmark.

For further information on how to get involved, please get in touch with the Danish Program Leader,
