The transition from school to work can be overwhelming. Decisions made as a teenager can affect future job prospects as well as self-esteem. Providing inspiration and motivation for learning are important protective factors to any feelings of marginalization.
Our Mentor Inspo program aims to address this problem by introducing professionals from diverse industries and careers to young people to:
- Inspire them to think differently about education and future careers.
- Empower them to make informed decisions.
- Motivate them to reflect on their interests, strengths, and hopes.
Mentor inspo took away my stress with school choices and explained how it's not my life's decisions and it's always possible to change along the way.
