2 October 2019 | Beirut, Lebanon: Her Majesty the Queen Silvia of Sweden is set to visit Lebanon for the very first time later on this month, Mentor Arabia Foundation has announced.
24 September 2019. During the Mentor Germany Youth Summit, which took place in the presence of H.M. Queen Silvia of Sweden, Mentor International and TUI Care Foundation launched a global partnership. The two organizations will team up to run a mentoring program to empower young people from vulnerable communities in Jordan, Germany and Sweden. The program will be set up by Mentor’s national operations and rolled out under the TUI Junior Academy umbrella.
On Tuesday 3 and Wednesday 4 September, The Queen visited Konstanz, Mainau and Lindau in southern Germany. Her trip included commemorations to mark Mentor's 25th anniversary.
Mentor is announcing the appointment of their newest Ambassador for Mentor International and Mentor Foundation USA, Romero Britto.
The health and well-being of young people is Mentor's core focus. Sara Revell Ford will become the new Secretary General of Mentor International and Mentor Sweden as of August 9, 2019. Sara Revell Ford is currently employed as National Director of the Swedish Red Cross.
On November 28th, H.M. Queen Silvia attended Mentor USA's benefit event at the Embassy of Sweden in Washington D.C. The event brought together influencers from business and government compassionate about the health and wellbeing of young people.
